Freakshow Jester Halloween Costume 2010
I made Freakshow, a giant jester costume, as a companion to go with “Chunk the Clown” (aka Jumbo). Both costumes are oversized, and are scary enough just as a simple costume, but they both also include an additional scare that people aren’t expecting. In the case of Freakshow, the torso tilts back to expose my own head so I can scare people. It also helps me cool off and interact with people at parties.
Freakshow debuted at the Midwest Haunter’s Convention Masquerade Ball in Columbus, OH on June 5, 2010.
The Freakshow mask comes from Fearscape Studios. It’s an oversized mask which made it perfect as the centerpiece for my second giant clown costume. The latex is very thick with fine details and an excellent paint job. I decided to go with the first color scheme pictured below because it uses the four colors that are used in the mask. I suppose any of the color schemes are possible because Fearscape Studios could probably do a custom paint job for an extra fee.

Dude that’s sooooo cool! How long did it take to make that, and where can I buy one? Haha
