The Flash page below was created as part of a one week camp for kids at Marion's Palace Theatre, based on the Harry Potter stories. For my class, I had the young wizards play Quidditch. They shot small foam balls (Quaffles) through hoops, set up to resemble the Quidditch field. The movie to the right is an actual video of the Quidditch field, complete with two flying Bludgers, a Golden Snitch, and a Wizard on his Nimbus 2000. |
Instructions for using this page:
Click the handle of the wand to magically change the color of the ball to 1 of 5 colors: blue, white, red, yellow, or green.
Wizards launched their Quaffles (foam balls) from 1 of 5 colored zones in front of the goals, determined by the color of the magic ball.
If the wizard makes a goal in one of the hoops, click the small white ball with the point value of the goal. (click the zero ball to set the point value back to zero)
Click the shield of the house for the team which scored to add the points to their score.
If you hold the SHIFT key and click a house name, the points are subtracted from their score (used if you make mistakes and add the wrong amount).
Hold the ALT key (windows) or OPTION key (macintosh) and click a house name to reset their score to zero.
