DIY iPhone Lanyard

I made my own custom iPhone lanyard because I don’t like putting my iPhone in my pocket or wearing it on my belt. I would miss calls with the phone in my pocket, and when I wore my old iPod on my belt I banged it on way too many things to risk doing the same thing to my iPhone. So my solution was to make my own lanyard and wear it around my neck.

DIY Laser Vortex Fog Tunnel

This laser vortex tunnel will be used in my home haunt this year (2009). I bought one last year at the Midwest Haunters Convention in 2008 for the Haunted Palace in Marion, OH. I was hoping to buy one for myself this year at MHC2009 but the vendor wasn’t at the show so I had to build one for myself instead.

Oversized Costume Starters

These are some quick and easy designs to make shoulder harnesses for oversized costumes. I made these for the Haunted Palace Theatre in 2008. I didn’t spend nearly as much time on these as I do for my other oversized costumes, mostly due to a lack of time, but also because of budget. Once you have the fake shoulders up above your head, you can just drape it with fabric, and use your own arms and hands.
